One of our goals here at TEXAAN is to serve our members by supporting each region. Our regions conduct professional development networking opportunities and drive-ins to facilitate connections amongst advising professionals in the region so that they can engage in focused conversations and share best practices. 

These events often provide a platform for advising professionals to exchange ideas, collaborate, and stay updated on the latest trends and developments in their field.

    Advisors play a critical role in supporting students, but their own professional growth is just as important. This session invites participants to reflect on their career goals and consider how they want to shape their future in advising and beyond. Practical strategies will be shared for advocating professional development, building skills for advancement, and preparing for leadership opportunities. The session will close with participants setting 1-3 professional goals and outlining actionable steps to achieve them.
