One of our goals here at TEXAAN is to serve our members by supporting each region. Our regions conduct professional development networking opportunities and drive-ins to facilitate connections amongst advising professionals in the region so that they can engage in focused conversations and share best practices. 

These events often provide a platform for advising professionals to exchange ideas, collaborate, and stay updated on the latest trends and developments in their field.

    Difficult conversations are part of an advisor's daily reality, whether supporting a student, partnering with faculty, or addressing challenging situations with colleagues. In this session, participants will explore their personal comfort with conflict, learn practical tools to turn tension into collaboration, and proactive real-world strategies through case study examples. Together, we'll build the confidence to advocate for students and ourselves while keeping relationships strong and solutions student-centered.
