There are three different TEXAAN awards:
- Outstanding advising award. Presented to an individual who has demonstrated qualities associated with
outstanding academic advising. The recipient will be recognized at the meeting and will receive a check for
$500 from TEXAAN. - Faculty advisor recognition award. Presented to an individual who has demonstrated qualities associated
with outstanding academic advising. The recipient will be recognized at the meeting and receive a plaque
from TEXAAN. - Academic advising administrator recognition award. Presented to an administrator who has made a
significant contribution to academic advising. The recipient will be recognized at the meeting and receive a
plaque from TEXAAN.

TEXAAN scholarships:
- Academic advising - primary role. Presented to
an individual who is pursuing graduate or
recognized at the meeting and will receive a
scholarship for $1,000.
